A convicted paedophile who absconded while on extended supervision will appear in the Hutt Valley District Court this morning.
Daniel Livingstone was arrested on Friday afternoon - after cutting off his electronic monitoring bracelet and leaving his house early on Thursday morning.
Police searched for him for 36 hours before a member of the public helped track him down.
Livingstone's expected make a bid to be released on bail when he appears in court today.
