A major drug operation in Canterbury鈥檚 Selwyn has seen 120 charges laid, 13 arrested and four people up for sentencing.
The operation ran from June to December 2024 targeting drug offending in the Selwyn region.
During that time, a total of 120 charges were laid.
鈥淩olleston Police executed multiple search warrants across the region ... in total 13 people were arrested for a variety of drug dealing and cultivation related offences,鈥 a police spokesperson said.
Police seized over $22,000 in cash and various quantities of drugs with a combined street value of over $38,000.
鈥淒rugs seized included cannabis, methamphetamine, MDMA and cocaine,鈥 said the spokesperson.
鈥淧olice remain committed to holding these offenders to account and ensuring these harmful products are not getting through to the community.鈥
Two men, 29 and 28, will be sentenced on March 7.
A 63-year-old man will be sentenced on March 11, and a 33-year-old is due for sentencing on April 11.
All four men will appear in the Christchurch District Court.
