A man who used false and forged documents to entice investors to put $1.2 million into his technology and property companies, has been jailed for three years and one month.
Palmerston North man John Fagan used the documents to overstate the financial position of his companies and to entice investors to part with another $4.5 million.
The Serious Fraud Office director, Julie Read, is pleased the prosecution has obtained some justice for victims of Fagan's fraudulent claims.
