A man's been been seriously injured in a shooting near Dunedin.
Emergency services were called to a residential property this afternoon at Bay Road in Purakaunui.
A 51-year-old man at the address had been injured and was flown by helicopter to Dunedin Hospital in a serious condition.
A short time later a 34-year-old woman presented herself at the Dunedin Central Police Station and is assisting police with their enquiries.
The address remains under scene guard.
