The star 鈥 who is worth an estimated US$75 million ($129m) 鈥 shared her opinions on finances during an episode of the 鈥淕ood Hang with Amy Poehler鈥 podcast 鈥 revealing she judges wealthy people who launch side projects in a bid to swell their already healthy bank balances.
During the podcast Poehler praised her friend and suggested she branch out by launching her line of hair products or glasses, saying: 鈥淵ou have incredible hair. I feel like you should have a hair campaign and also I鈥檓 always pushing you to have a glasses line.
鈥淲hy do you not have a glasses line? [Do] you hate money?鈥

Tina then explained: 鈥淚 do kind of hate money. As we know, I鈥檓 terrible with money only in that I don鈥檛 waste money, but I don鈥檛 get excited about money. If I鈥檓 safe and I have enough money to live, I have a problem with rich people having a side hustle.
鈥淚f you already have like US$200 million ($344m) 鈥 I judge it.鈥
Tina went on to explain she was once left baffled when she discovered an actor was promoting a range of homeopathic medicines for kids.
She said: 鈥淥ne time a million years ago, I remember seeing 鈥 and I won鈥檛 name this actor but someone could figure it out 鈥 an 鈥80s actor promoting her line of homeopathic children鈥檚 medications.
I was like: 鈥榃hy on this Earth would I trust an actor for paediatric medications?鈥欌
Poehler concluded: 鈥淵ou should stop, because this is the thing now. You have to have a million [things]. You have to have glasses!鈥
