A 32-year-old man will appear in court tomorrow after a child and parent were grabbed outside a Christchurch kindergarten on Tuesday morning.
The man is alleged to have approached several parents and their children outside Kidsfirst Kindergarten in Phillipstown.

Kidsfirst Kindergarten CEO Sherryll Wilson was grateful for the quick police response.
鈥淥ur staff handled the situation very well and enacted their emergency plan for situations such as this morning,鈥 said Wilson.
鈥淭he safety of tamariki, their whanau and our staff are always our prime concern and focus. This incident is a good reminder for us to always keep a close eye on our tamariki... and to be never afraid to ask for help,鈥 said Wilson.
The man will appear in Christchurch District Court tomorrow charged with disorderly behaviour, assaulting a child, assaulting a female, and resisting police.
