A school in a Napier suburb is in lockdown after a reported sighting of a firearm nearby.
Police were called to Tait Dr, near the intersection of Spriggs Cres, about 2.15pm.
Parkside Adventist Christian School said on its Facebook page it was in lockdown 鈥渦ntil further notice鈥.
鈥淎ll of our students are safe and happy.
鈥淲e will update when it is safe.
