A Christchurch school has published photographs of parents parking illegally, after becoming fed up with dodgy driving.
In a weekly letter sent out to parents from the St Albans School Board of Trustees, pictures of cars parking on footpaths and dotted lines are shown.
The number plates have been blanked out to protect privacy.
Principal Ginnie Warren said the aim is to highlight the important of traffic safety, in order to prevent accidents from happening.
It follows a recent incident where a child was hit by a vehicle backing out of a driveway in the school's vicinity.
The child was not seriously hurt, but Ginnie Warren said that's the kind of scenario the board is trying to prevent.
