The crash on Beach Rd in Mairangi Bay was reported to shortly after 1pm.

A spokesperson said three ambulances, a rapid response unit, and an operations manager responded.
“Two patients are being transported to Auckland City Hospital, one in a moderate condition and one in a serious condition. One additional patient, in a moderate condition, is being transported to North Shore Hospital,†St John said.

Police were still at the scene at 2pm and the Serious Crash Unit had been notified.
