Tax cuts are coming from July 31st, a month later than National pledged pre-election.
Households with children are promised to be better off by an average of $78 a fortnight, as part of the Government's total $3.68 billion tax package.
The boost comes through changes to income tax thresholds, the lower bracket for entering the 17.5 percent tax rate is shifting from $14,000 to $15,600, while the 30 per cent rate will kick in at $53,500, up from 48.
To pay for it, $3.71 billion has been found through cuts that include axing previous Labour Government programmes, and other Ministry savings.
The health system gets a big win, with just over $2 billion of new funding this year, while Education's scored just over $1 billion and $460 million for Law and Order.
