Police officers have managed to shepherd a 鈥渟ignificant number鈥 of geese off State Highway 18 on Auckland鈥檚 North Shore.
The road is now clear after police earlier urged motorists travelling near the Constellation Drive on-ramp to drive with caution.
鈥淧olice have been made aware of a significant number of Canadian geese on the road,鈥 police said.
Police officers were deployed to try and clear the road.
鈥淥fficers managed to shepherd the birds back through the fence alongside the road,鈥 they said.
鈥淧olice would like to thank motorists for their patience as we worked to clear the road.鈥
