That's from a community group promoting electric cars, Flip the Fleet.
There are more than 10,000 electric or hybrid vehicles in the country, with fully electric ones making up about three-quarters of the total.
Flip the Fleet co-founder Henrik Moller told Tim Dower when there's one EV in a household of a few cars, it quickly becomes the in-demand vehicle.
"A bit of a competition develops over who gets the electric vehicle that day. There's no fuel tax and it's quite cheap to power so it makes sense that you concentrate most of your family driving on the EV."
