There's a chance easier visa access to the UK could be on the way for New Zealanders.
British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson is in the country and says he's in favour of easier migration for members of the Commonwealth - post Brexit.
Former UKIP immigration spokesman Steven Woolfe said leaving the European Union means Britain can cull unskilled migrants and make room for skilled ones.
He told Mike Hosking the British Government is likely to adopt a flexible migration policy that benefits countries, like New Zealand.
"It's about saying that we recognise there is really strong talent across the world but we needed to have that control from the unskilled labour market."
Woolfe said its high-time the UK cull unskilled migrants to make room for workers from countries like New Zealand.
"Over the past 20 years in particular immigration policy has favoured the European Union... there is definitely a clear discrimination."
